PTA Activities

At the beginning of the school year the board members interview all parents and decide how to divide the various responsibilities for the upcoming school year. Sharing the responsibilities offers a chance for parents to engage with one another and contribute to the success of the school.

Some of the roles that parents can fill are:

• Teacher
• Assistant Teacher
• School Board Member
• Book Clerk
• Newsletter Editor
• IT Coordinator
• Cleaning Coordinator
• Sports Day Organizer
• Mochitsuki Organizer

Cleaning Duty: The responsibility of cleaning the lounge space and the library is shared among all parents. There is an online sign up sheet shared among parents. Cleaning includes vacuuming, wiping the floor, wiping windows, general tidying up, etc.
